KARACHI, June 25–26 — The third edition of the Pakistan Chemical Expo (PACE 2025), organized by the Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association (PCMA), commenced at the Expo Centre Karachi. The two‑day B2B mega‑event aligns with the theme “Sustainable Chemical Industry,” spotlighting green chemistry, innovation, and export growth.
The expo was formally inaugurated on June 25 by Sindh’s Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, and PCMA chairman Haroon Ali Khan. Minister Dharejo highlighted the strategic importance of the chemical sector, calling it not only a cornerstone of Pakistan’s manufacturing but also a powerful engine for exports. He said, “the chemical industry is at the heart of modern manufacturing, from textiles and pharmaceuticals to agriculture and energy,” and pledged government support through trade reforms and targeted incentives.
Haroon Ali Khan, speaking as PCMA chairman, emphasized the event’s role in bridging academia, regulators, and industry. According to him, the expo is a strategic catalyst for showcasing Pakistan’s rapidly growing chemical sector, facilitating investments, and promoting sustainable industrial practices.
PACE 2025 brought together over 150 exhibitors, including major players from petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyes & pigments, packaging, chemical logistics, and R&D. There is strong international participation from markets including China, Turkey, UAE, Germany, and other ASEAN countries.
The expo’s objective is twofold:
- Showcase Pakistan’s end-to-end chemical value chain, from raw materials and specialty chemicals to equipment, waste management, and smart manufacturing providers.
- Support policy dialogue, technology exchange, and B2B matchmaking to attract local and foreign investment.
Thought Leadership & Networking
PACE 2025 featured panel discussions, technical seminars, product exhibits, and policy forums. These sessions engaged regulatory bodies, academia, investors, and global trade partners, designed to enhance collaboration and innovation.
The expo also doubled as a networking hub, offering structured B2B matchmaking to foster joint ventures, procurement deals, and technological cooperation.
