The Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association (PCMA) is pleased to welcome Mr. Muddassar Yaqub as its new Secretary General.
Mr. Muddassar brings with him over three decades of extensive experience across the Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Petrochemical, and Refinery sectors. Throughout his distinguished career, he has been closely associated with large-scale chemical and industrial projects, with hands-on involvement in engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and early-stage plant operations. His professional journey includes senior leadership roles at Engro Corporation, where he earned recognition for managing complex industrial projects with technical depth and strategic foresight.
In addition to his operational expertise, Mr. Muddassar has remained actively engaged in industry and policy discourse, advocating for strengthening Pakistan’s petrochemical base, enhancing industrial competitiveness, and promoting sustainable sectoral growth. His deep understanding of industry challenges and forward-looking perspective will be instrumental in advancing PCMA’s strategic objectives.
PCMA is confident that under his leadership, the Association will further strengthen its role in policy advocacy, member engagement, and the long-term development of Pakistan’s chemical industry.
